Canadaicon has stricter regs thant the US does in terms of "Explosives". Yeah, I know, ammo is not really an explosive, but it does fall under that reg in Canada.

Much of the cheap surplus sold in the US either can't be imported into Canada, or can be imported but can't be sold at the retail level. That's why what little milsurp gets imported to Canada is priced higher. Captive market.
