I've seen numerous examples of both real and knock-off Inglis stocks. I am almost cetain it is real. If i could see the back side of it, i would know for sure. There are a few tell-tale details shown in the pics that would suggest that it is the real thing. More pics would make me certain, however again, I am 99% certain it is real. If i get a chance i will compare to my 5 (!) real and 2 fake stocks on the weekend.


Speaking of which, I have seen many marked with the 1944 date. Are the 1945 dates a bit more rare?
