Colt Recall - Quick service and POOR quality
I just received my New Agent back from Colt. The service was quick bit the quality was POOR. The safety lever was a different hue of blue than the original and is poorly finished. It is complete with machining parts, a big gouge at the top, and a blemish in the middle that looks like I could scrape the bluing off with my fingernail. The gun was returned with several scratches on it. I have no doubt that the value of this gun is diminished. I wrote to Colt and offered to sell it back to them for the $970.00 I paid for it. Either that, or they can offer me a settlement. I own many Colts but as far as I am concerned this is the last one. Next time I will buy a Glock. Buy American? Not until they get their act together better than COLT.
