Anybody watching "Pawn Stars" on THC?
They had a guy walk into their shop with an 1886 2lb Hotchkiss mountain canon from the Spanish American War era. He asked 30,000 bucks for it, which the owner paid after getting a firing demonstration with a reloaded shell with a solid projectile.
What does it take to own one of these besides lots of money? Are these NFA regulated?

Just the bucks. The club I used to belong to owns 2 moutain howitzers. I guess technically I still own a chunk of one. There are no special regs to own one. They are a blast to fire. Safty on artillary, especially muzzle loading, is a whole new ball game. One should always read before pulling the lanyard.
