Couple of Rare Knuckle Knives

Does the bottom knife have a handle made of a material other than brass? Looks to be steel?
When I get home will have to try to post a pic of my OCL. It has a brass handle but the lettering does not appear stamped (indented) but cast in outward.

Handle is brass with nickel over it.
