I took my grandsons to this wonderful museum to day. If you live within a few hours drive of the Quantico Marine Base, Virginia, you should try to go. The displays are fantastic and the use of audio visual enhancements make it sound and feel like the old Walter Cronkite TV show "All things are as they were then except" "You Are There". They have several aircraft both suspended from the tower and on the floor as part of the display. Now for the bad news. I only counted 6 M1icon Carbines all with late featuers except one Winchester (I think). flip sight, I cut, flat bottom. I only saw two legit Garands. The remainder were rubber. All in all I would rate the Museum a 98.50%. Semper-Fi (I wore the other green uniform-just in case you were wondering) www.usmcmuseum.ord
