USGI Bolt Tools
I've got tired of the cheaper bolt tools breaking on me. Same part every time....the forked end that seats the extractor plunger back in.
So I bought a set of two from Eddy Yuja still in the wrap. These are the better quality USGI ones.
Problem now........It's unopened. I need the tool but hate to open it.

Hi Derrick !!
2 in the package......
$116.00 shipped.
Figured by the time I buy the cheaper commercial ones for about $50 each, this was worth it.
Plus I get the cool package.
Regards
Charlie

I'll trade you my 1 "opened-not-in-the-wrap-whatsoever-and-completely-cleaned-of-cosmoline" GI bolt tool for that "unopened-in-the-wrap-still-covered-in-cosmo" package of two!
The dealer that I got my bolt tool from gave me the packaging that he took it from. I'll tell you, though: once you open that package and un-wrap the bolt, you will have a new appreciation for the "cosmoline
" that's found on carbines! The black sludge that they packed those tools with took me FOREVER to clean-out (especially under the ejector pin)!

Charlie,
Don't want to be the bearer of bad news but, the split end of the pawl on the GI tools also breaks. The pawls are hard to find loose. Seen them in packs of 6 in the wrap, but none for a long time.

Jim,
You just had to blow out my candles didn't you !!
No biggie....needed them anyways. Just about the same cost as the commercial ones.
Cheers

Candles? Is it your birthday Charlie?
Even being careful, I have broken 4 or 5 pawls over the years. In a hurry, not placed correctly, over tighten, loaning it out to someone. Frustrating, but something we just live with.

Hello Charlie is possible to have a photo of the tool once unpacked?
I recently bought one in Belgium
. Except that it is very solid, I am incapable to say if it is a USGI version.

MIR224,
Could you send me a Private message or E-mail me thru the forum here?
That way I'll remember. Be happy to show you the pictures when I get around to cleaning them.
