    During basic training at Fort Bragg circa 1968, my ex-brother-in-law referred to his weapon as a GUN. The DI didn't like his comment so made him run around the grounds using "hands on" to differentiate a weapon from a gun shouting one is for shooting and one is for fun. I never forgot that! Isn't that sexual harassment on the part of the DI?????? He coulda got the army into a lot of trouble for that!

    I heard that in Boot "1967" also.
    They used that line in a movie too, I can't remember which one.
