    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hello everyone, checking in from Nebraska. I love surplus rifles but I am very new to it. I just made my first purchase yesterday a Smith Corona 1903-A3 and I can't wait for it to arrive. This looks like a great board and I love it all ready.

    Hello to all,
    I'm a new member here, but have been collecting MilSurps for years.
    Just saw a post (video) by a member showing how to strip and disassemble the bolt on the Mauser 98K. I'd like to send him a BIG "Thanks!" Excellent video and instructions.
    I just finished cleaning the bolts on my 2 K98icon's, and it was a snap!
    Now, where did I put that 7.7 Jap, the .303 Enfield, the 6.5 Swede, the M1icon Garand . . .

    Tom

    New To Site

    Hello Folks;
    I was brought up in a gun family and have happily carried on the tradition.
    My interests are primarily in military bolt action rifles from the mid 20th century on back to their advent in the 19th century (Zundnadel gewehr, Chassepot, etc.).
    I came across your website while trying to glean more info on my No.1 MKIII*. Thank you for the resource and the opportunity for good comraderie.

    COASTIE FT: Retired from the USCG where I was a Fire Control Technician.
