No we just give him a gaudy cake with his presidential number on it (because he knows it's a big joke on the American people because by birth he's Kenyan.)
With all the stuff available on DVD these days, I wish somebody would make this available. (Of course in a version that would play on this side of the pond) I have an old tape of the trooping of the colour. (Old enough that the queen attended on horseback rather than in a carriage) It's a grand show
I'm sure that some would like to do that for the Great Pretender I am NOT one of them. IMHO a ride on a rail with a feather coat would be more appropriate.
Actualy they did that for him.
Remember his nomination where he descended from a fake Mount Olympus in that stadium?
Lets not forget his inaugration. The dimocrats were whining about the expense of the one Bush had, and then they turned the messiah's into a combination of a Roman circus and a elevation to sainthood!!!!
Some rather smart looking troops in those formations. No, we don't trot out our divisions for practically anything except an inauguration or state funderal. Of course, we don't have nearly the heritage to put on parade now, do we? Perhaps one day we'll catch up. I will never forget
display in front of Buckingham Palace on 9/13/2001. My parents were "trapped" in the U.K until air flights resumed and were taken care of by the British people. Very nice indeed.
