Unfortunately when I asked the original question I was working from memory-which was faulty. I have since dug it out and find that I was wrong in two areas. First the sling swivel is missing and secondly the band is used not new. The band is narrower than the bayonet lug equipped on my carbine but I do not know what “narrow “is. Secondly it does not have the hole for accommodating the band spring as does the barrel band on my bayonet lug equipped carbine. I apologize for my first description.
On the old Joustericon board I have posted pictures. On this board I have not been successful. The band that I have is a two piece assembly with the screw on the left side. The piece that mounts on to the barrel is has the integral hand guard flange. This is welded (?) to the band that goes around the stock. This band measures 3/8 inch in width. On the left slide are the screw and the bushing for the sling swivel.
It is not for sale, I am just seeking knowledge to satisfy my curiosity.
