Chuck:
This T has been on AA for more than a month, and has had no takers. If you will look closely, it's missing quite a bit of blue (this is a nice way of saying there's quite a bit of rust on it). The stock looks like it has been (for lack of a better word) whupped on pretty hard in front of the front band, and has been dinged in several other places.
The missing sights are not a terrible problem, a Lyman 48C is fairly easy to find, and the missing Winchester globe front sight is being reproduced.
I think the bolt is most likely correct, and the rest of the rifle "appears" correct at first glance; 1314385 is a documented Type T serial numer. The scope blocks will fit both Winchester A5 and Unertl/Feckler scopes.
To me, this appears to be an example of a T that has been fairly well used and somewhat abused. For the current price, which is apparently too high in todays market, I think this particular Type T would require a hands on inspection, at best.
Apparently everybody else thinks this is the case as well......The last T sold by Scott Duff was in much better condition (it was nearly perfect), and sold for only a little bit more money.
