Picking up my last layaway
In about 10 minutes I'm taking my lunch to drive to a local gun shop to pay off the last of two layaways. I was paying on my No5 up until about 3 weeks ago and today I'm bringing home my P14.
Typically, my own rule on this stuff is if I have to put in on layaway I only do one at a time and I don't buy anything else until the layaway is paid off. Well, you know how it is with mil-surplus, you can't guarantee you'll see another of what you want for the price you want... so I bent the rules a little.
I'll post some pictures when time permits.

KarlJ, Sometimes there's an inner voice, or the rifle's talking to ya that makes us 'break the rules'.

Especially when it says "I'm a really nice P14 with Weedon Proofs and you'll kick yourself in the butt for a very long time if you pass me up..."
Maybe I should have read that section on mental health on the 4473 a little better....
