    Was looking for 03 treasures...

in New Englandicon, but all I could come up with was an Unertl spotting scope 24x63. It has no case or mount and has been around the block a few times (major scratches on the outside finish), but the optics apear to be in very nice shape. I'll post pics when I return home. I paid an obscenely low price.

The closest thing I have to a 1903 Springfield treasure is a P.J. O'Hare rear sight micrometer.......not even in the same category as a Unertl scope. I guess I'll call mine a trinket. Beach

"I guess I'll call mine a trinket." Ah... but one man's trinket is another man's treasure! It would be a thrill to see such a thing. Sincerely. BruceV.

I just wanted to clarify that it is a spotting scope and not a rifle scope. I did find one minus against it, the eye relief seems a little low and I'm not sure how well it will work with shooting glasses on. We shall see.

Smile Unertl spotting scope pics as promised

Well as you can see, it's been around the block a few times. The coating on the front lens is worn, but there's no scratches. This is all I got, without a case or stand. Please offer some opinions.

    thanks

    -Jeff L
