"the drop from 100 to 200 yards for .30-06 is about 2 inches (168gr, HPBT with Vo=2700 fps)"

The drop is more like 4 inches. (Two clicks up from your 100 yard (or meter) setting.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Gabriel,
It can be done, I like to use a solid 22 barrel with parts of an original barrel attached.

    TRS4923,

I like your build. I think to build something very close to your output. What parts of the original barrel are you using ? receiver & muzzle ends I suppose ?
For your bolt, did you use the M1icon Rifle bolt patern shortened ?

    Outstanding work !

    Gabriel
