So what's wrong w/ a little more photo time? It'll have to do until a real one jumps into my (or your) hands.

The Pride of the Collection - difficult !!
The first one that is truly the "Pride of the Collection" is my Enforcer, originally issued to the South Wales Police. With only (about) 760 manufactured, 134 not being listed as 'sold' and an estimated 50% of those isssued destroyed, there are not many to 'go around'. I never thought I'd be lucky enough to a) find one, b) have the cash available but fortunately both came together and here is the result.

The one that will never leave me is a No1 MkIII* that was built by my own fair hands.
Sourced the barrel and action, woodwork, bolt, magazine, all the nuts, screws, bolts and metalwork from all over the world (USA
, Canada
, England
, Australia
). It started life as a Lithgow receiver but was scrubbed and FR'd in Ishapore in '46, put into cosmoline
and storage. Rebuilt up into a 'bitsa' in 2009. All original Enfield No1 MkIII* parts but from all manufacturers. There isnt another like it.
PH5A rear sight with variable iris eyepiece.

This one is much more joy than pride. Not terribly unusual, it's a '66 Ishapore No.2 Mk.4* .22cal. trainer with a P-H backsight - one of the first Lee-Enfields I ever bought. I used to do fairly well with it in local "turkey shoot" competitions and it's quite a conversation starter. It always brings a smile to my face.
