The reason I was thinking about buying the no 3 magazine was because the magazine that came in one of my CLLE's is a No 4 type. The rifle had been modified to accept Mk VII ammo because it has the gooved feed ramp & the rear sight is graduated to 1900 yards with a sight notch at the top of the ladder for 2000 yards. Although the rifle ws no doubt used in WW I and aquired the type 4 magazine then, I wonder if I should get the type 3 magazine that would also go with the Mk VII ammo as well as Mk VI ? The magazine well is certainly notched on the right side for the riveted lip. So Should I keep the type 4 magazine or put out 90 to 100 bucks for the type 3?. If it's a Lithgowmagazine, it wouldn't be perfectly correct for the Enfield made rifle, but does that matter? Fred
