    Why not ask AIM if it's corrosive? I use Hoppe's#9 to clean after shooting corrosive ammo and haven't had a problem. The old GI bore solvent would probably work too.

    Well it is, or more correctly it was. Looks like the Russianicon is dried up or that page is defunct on the AIM website.

    ALL 7.62x54R mil surp ammo is corrosive.

    Buy the Hungarianicon light ball, I have many types of mil surp 7.62x54R and that HLB shoots the smallest groups in my rifles.
