The photo did not very good and doesn't show enough details on the 'C - tip', but from what I can see, it's looks correct. HTH

PS - The two slings in the eBay ads at the top of the page are good.

    jjh,

There are many people looking for authentic M1icon carbine slings on eBay and other places, but most for sale are reproductions and people here are wary because they want an authentic sling.

I've seen the slings you have had on eBay and they've all been authentic.
I hope this info will let people here know they're safe buying from you.

I also hope you'll get some fair prices for what you are selling jjh - I seem to me that there are so many fakes, many people bidding don't know an authentic item when they see one and it should sell for a premium over what all the fakes are selling for.
I know it costs a little more, but have you thought about using the "Buy it Know" feature?

    ~ Harlan

    PS -
The case you have on auction right now is interesting. I've read there were a lot of original surplus cases after the war and some companies stenciled deer scenes on them trying to enhance them to sell to hunters. I don't know a lot about this, but it looks to me like the case you have is one of them.
(Maybe someone with more knowledge about these will respond with more info)

    jjh,

Someone got fair deals on your slings. $50 with a $10 IS oiler, and $51 with a $10 BK oiler. They ought to be happy when they receive them.

I have an original zipper case for each of my Carbine's.

You wrote that the 45" case will hold a Carbine with a bayonet attached. I use the extended cases for my Garandicon's, they fit also. All my Garand's have the extended zipper case.

The red paint lowers the selling price, but I'm sure you paid less when you bought it for the same reason. I wonder how bad it would look if you tried to remove the paint? I have tried ink writting and it left lightened areas, anyone tried removing paint?

    Good luck with your sales.

    JimF
