Ross sport
I have never seen a Ross other then in pictures. Then I found one in a sport store minus lower handguard, bayo lug, etc. Had a lot of markings on the stock face but I did not write done what was there.
I think there was a rear different sight on it.
Store wanted $350.00 for it. I thought it was too much for the condition of the rifle. What does the forum think?
Also, are spare parts readily available? I could make an offer for the rifle

Generally speaking, that is too much for a sported service rifle.
Photos or more detail would help.

Pics are very helpful.
Spare parts are near impossible to acquire.

If there's no spare bits in its homeland, its probably no better in the great arms dumping ground (USA
). All the spares I've seen have been rear sights.

Numrich lists some Ross parts. One big issue is the number of Ross models. It seems that like snowflakes no two were ever made the same...(a slight exaggeration but you get the idea)
Parts? You pretty much need to buy parts rifles.
Now, $350? If that's a cutdown military rifle, more like $100.

As long as you don't have an address in Canada
, I can assist with most Ross parts, but certainly no complete stocks! For those stuck in Canada, ask Wheaty
