Hey Emri,
Bet that bolt has a "J" marked on the bottom of the safety lug. Not a common steel lot code, used only in the last few months of 1910. Nice photo
Bolt probably has an enlarged gas hole also.

from the other site. Good photo to illustrate the info requested by the original poster. Shows exactly how one should look. I didn't know about the other items you mentioned.
The pic showed when I "pre-viewed" the posting. Now I get an "X" in a red box.
Anyone interested can right click and highlight the "properties" , paste that on the browser bar and view it again.
Thanks for the good pic Lancebear !!
One day, IF I find the time, I will take some pics of mine to show y'all.
One day flying monkeys will take over the world too......
Later,
Emri

Hey Emri,
Ya' didn't rob anything. Post a photo on the Inet and it's fair game.
The bolt is what I said it is and does have an enlarged hole.
Lucky for me the Marine who engraved it had a fine hand.
I assume yours must be similar?
If I ever get down your way again, I would be happy to do a photo shoot of your rifles, just for you and you could do whatever with them.
Like the land, people, food and the fishin' in your place. Paradise for me compared to southeast Louisiana.
Wasn't lookin' for cred, just funnin'.
