And how I'm going to treat my HRA (all original but for bolt and trigger assy - while at Orion 7 for a tech inspection, they install "correct" bolt w/ correct original finish. We are looking for just the right trigger assy.)

Now, I guess I need to order another 'shooter' carbine and garand from the CMPicon... yea, my wife is going to go for that! LOL...

At our one range, there's one range officer that is a Korean war vet, real nice guy. When I bring down my other NPM mixmaster potbelly carbine, I let him shoot a few mags through it each time. He gets a thrill, he said it's been since Korea, that he's shot a real USGI carbine. He qualified with the Garandicon but fought with the carbine his whole time there.
So some times is a pleasure and honor.
