I had it once
I bought this one also and returned it as serial was marked front of receiver and was not in description of auction at the CMP

Having the serial number stamped in front of the sight is be a big turn off for me too. I know it goes with the history of the gun and being rebuilt. I personally just don't care for it. And don't have or want any marked that way.

But every one of these guys will admit that it really is a pretty rare carbine. Is it worth that much? I don't think so. Maybe half that? probably.....I have one myself and I don't think I would ask that much for it.......UNLESS, I found a sucker with WAY TOO MUCH MONEY!
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!
