A load that I have been shooting for over 14 years :
Win 296 -- .3 grains below book max with a 110 Remington soft point bullet. Basically that's a milspec clone with a SP substituted for the FMJ . The load chrony's in the upper part of the milspec velocity window and shoots very close to the excellent ROK surpus ball.
The load is around 110-130-FPS faster than the Remington factory load. DocGKR at m4carbine.net recommends the Remington load -- it expands to .54 -- .58 and goes 13 -- 16 inches into gel. The faster load might expand a little more & penetrate a little less.
There can be courtroom complications with reloads , but sometimes you just gotta run what you brung . I prefer to use factory defense loads. YMMV.
Hope this helps.Information
