    Look close at the side of his pack facing us, what do you see.

    Also is that an LT. bar just off shoulder or damage in the photo, can't tell.

    Looks like a "Willie Peter" rifle grenade.

    Here's another of Churchill, Eisenhower, and Bradley (corrected) shooting the "New M1icon Carbines"

    Looks like a “Willie Pete” on the rock waiting to get thrown. It also looks like the guy holding the BAR is not the BAR gunner. The Guy in the back ground has the ammo rig for the BAR. Recon the fellow in the foreground is just holding it so the BAR man can lob a couple grenades ?
