Yes, but several days prior! Several of us tried shooting it, including a guy who did DCM matches. It had "minute of milk jug" accuracy! It was pretty dreadful; a mixmaster with mismatched ugly wood, pitted bore. back then I only paid about $160 or 200 (something like that) so I was able to get my money from a re-enactor. It is one thing if it kicks like a mule and smashes your thumb, if it at least shoots decent.

Hopefully I will fare better this time.
