Your carbine should have a Bavarian agency marking on the top of the receiver to the left of the bolt. If it's not obvious, look close, the markings may have been obliterated by Bavaria before they handed it over to Austriaicon.

Bavaria Forestry Police and Bavaria Game Warden drilled and tapped a number of their carbines, but not the majority.

When the Austrians received them from Bavaria, on some of them they filled in the holes and polished them flat.
