ahhhhh, thats my big secret, i do the same way the guys at SA and RIA did..
as long as its not kinked, it can be done.
i straightened a Ruger 77 barrel that was bent 6 inches down 3 inches left.
was on an ATV that rolled down a mountain.
was planning on replacing the barrel, but tried it. it worked great, shoots well, and holds zero.
iv straightened a few 03, 17, and more M1Carbine barrels then i can remember.
all but a couple turned out good.

these are simple rifle, made so simple men could repair them..
however,, send that trailer park lookin blonde to me, and ill fix it for free:}
