SA prototype did go to an absentee bidder for $3500. Claimed he was willing to go to $5000.
No 4 Mk I T went for $1400, mismatched scope and bolt, no can for the scope. Thinking that's still pretty cheap, but didn't have the nerve.
screaming deal more like it. Unless the scope was completely buggered.
Anyone know what this one went for?214-C-36.--- Ser.# 4627aa, Mauser,mod. 98, (42) dated 1939, 8mm Maus. cal. full wood milt B/act.
bbl. [appears unissued, Nazi marked, all matching numbers, including the stock.] FRC#9990970.
Hey there Cantom,, Nope, the scope was in excellant condition. A few scratches etc, but that made it look used...kills? Anyway the optics were clear and nice no marks on the lense, and tres nice recticle.
Sad that these auction people just barge in and grab someones stuff, and don't seem to get all the parts to go with the item. I'm sure the owners will find parts left over in the basement...![]()
