How many dress the part while at the range?

Just wondering how many of you guys dress the part while shooting your milsurps at the range. for example if you are a collector of WW2 fireams, do you have a WW2 uniform or helmet etc.

I am kind of screwed because I am a bit more interested in WW1 and wearable relics from that era are both scarce and expensive but In time I can atleast pick up a doughboy helmet.

I'm more of an engineering/design/manufacturing nerd than re-enactor, but I understand the drive to achieve the complete package, if for no other reason than to see what limitations/enhancements period battle dress had on the soldier as compared to combatants of other nations and/or time frames.

Just shooting at the range, you'd probably look kinda silly. But dressin' up to go play with the other kids, that's OK.

I never have, but I blame thirty five years army for that. When my gun club would have it's annual shoot, EVERYONE else wore their fav outfit. There was a bit of everything.

I once showed up at the range with a stolen ATF hat. It took less that 4 minutes for the range to clear, had the place to myself. You do have to be careful what you wear to the range.

They wont like it over here when you`re coming in a uniform at the range.

On occasion's i've been known to sport a helmet . You need to know what their site picture looked like to get the feel of the rifle being used. So i've been seen wearing these helmets while shooting.

nice, I always get the urge to stick a wheel of cheese on the picklehaub point, I can't explain why I just do. lol

In the spirit of things, I dressed the part for a few air shows my group's C-47 flew to, but I would never be able to wear it to the range. It felt odd enough dressing up for an air show demo, but the visitors seemed to like it.
I can only imaging what people at the shooting range would think!
