Anyone want a small bit of scrap metal ????

You do know that you need a Long Eye Relief (LER) scope with one of those mounts, don't you?

But you want to get rid of it, I'll take it. I have a red dot scope that will work fine with it.

I think I need a bin to throw it in. It was just an inexpensive taster to see the result. It just didnt look the part on a M38 1945 vintage rifle and in reality the scope would cost more than the rifle.
This rifle is normaly used on an open range 400mtrs + and gives remarkable results on iron sights even though it is only carbine length.
