    Stu, I'm not sure I would call it fake. It is a real IJ sight. They did make a lot of them for their own production. Its much like the ones on the AOs being made today. They are (were) current production facsimilies and were never meant as anything but parts for repro carbines. But you are correct in that it isn't an original GI production sight.
    When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!
