US value query on 1923 Enfield VI revolver still in .455
Considering pouring the last of my savings into a revolver, so any help regarding value would be appreciated. I have found a 1923 Enfield VI revolver, not shaved, non-import marked, finish about 90+%, good bore, tight lock up, no mechanical issues. Still trying to get decent photos. Any idea on a very rough ballpark value in the US? Don't want to lowball the seller, but do not want to get scammed. I have searched high and low on google for recent sales, but I have not found any.

That's a tough one to find now days that one has not been shaved and two not priced at an astronomical price. Here is mine that I paid $875 for 8 years ago. And I thought it was a good deal. I would look at it serious if it were say $1300 or below.

This is a photo of markings on the backstrap - anyone recognize any of them?

I do....... WK is the Warwickshire Yeomanry, a Territorial Hussar regiment.
The 16/5L is the 16th 5th Lancers an amalgamation of two armoured regiments, the 16th Lancers and the 5th Lancers and the 38 (or whatever it is) is the unit/armoury or whatever number.
All these marks are identifiable in a little booklet available from Brian at BDL Ltd in SC

Might just do that. Got to find a new home for a P64 before I try (limited finances, and my kiddies need to eat).
