VETERANS RAIL CARD UK EX MILITARY
Hi Guys,
Just a quick one.
This scheme has just been launched and I have mine on the way. £63 for 3 years with massive savings on rail travel.
All you need is your Certificate of Service copyed and scanned in and downloaded onto the Government site and if you want your wife or partner to also get discount you can include her too for free.
ID card on its way. Some great rail journeys COVID safe going on if you fancy a relaxing change!!
Here's the link it took me 10 minutes to apply for: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/n...lcard-launched

Yes I have mine with my wifes picture below mine.
I know some will be reluctant to travel anywhere at the moment, but be assurred all the UK trains run a tight ship and if you want to get out and about without the long haul of holding a steering wheel it is definitely the way to travel at the moment in your own cocoon!
Get it whilst its quiet............if people see a glimmer of daylight in the future, you'll be waiting a while. Took 24 hours to arrive from flash to bang, through the letterbox.

Roy,
No, its the Veterans ID card I refer to, allows your wife to have the same benefits, thats why her image appears on it.

That's the railcard? I thought you meant the Vetrans ID card, i.e. the MOD90 that is now being issued to leavers and was mooted as being available to Veterans from Nov.
