    Daughter in the Navy !!

    Hi Guys,
I'm slowly catching my breath and feeling normal again. Was buried this year by the largest custom built home I've ever undertaken in almost 35 years in the biz. At nearly 30,000 sq ft you could get lost in it. A true test of mind and body. Putting that to rest I wanted to Thank all of you that tried contacting me and the family to see if we were ok, we are. Just didn't have the time to turn on a computer and afraid of what was gonna explode out of my E-mail in box.

I'd like to share with you some pictures of my daughter Hilary who passed on her Senior year at MSU and went in the Navy. She graduated from Great Lakes Naval RTC on 11-10-11 and has settled down in San Antonio. Her first daytime liberty was on 11-11-11, Veterans Day and the 100th year Navy Anniversary, which we all thought was pretty awesome! She was the Assistant Recruit Division Commander and Starboard Watch Commander. Will start her A schooling after the New Year. She's currently a E3 Corpsman and will further her training in the nursing and rehabilitative fields.

I managed to get her to the range a few times over the summer to knock the rust off her trigger finger. For a 'Lefty' she's had the 'touch' since she was a young one. Knowing how to adjust her point of aim like a old schooler.

I used the NRA 50' slow fire pistol targets, Black 7 ring and in is 3". Outer ring aprox 7" or 7 1/2 (don't recall ).

These first 2 targets were both shot with a QHMC from 50yrds. I shot 1-15 rd mag at each from a stand. My groups are circled. My daughter shot resting on the bench.

So as not to let her head get too large I tested her with that old 1927 Colt 1911 I have, figuring she'd be lucky to hit paper from 25 yrds and was pretty surprised.
    Shot from a standing position.

She finished up shooting a S&W Model 19 in .357. Hitting high at first, she walked it down to a nice pattern from 25 yrds out both from a knee and standing.

Here's the TAKE THAT DAD look !
