I picked this up last summer. It's a 1945 Izhevsk. The bore is good, stock is ugly. Shoots pretty well, kicks hard.It has import marks from Cole Distributing on the bayonet mount.
Anyone recognize the stamps in the photos? It also has a circle with the number 57 inside it, stamped on the stock near the buttplate. The diamond stamp has three characters in inside it, but I can't make them out.
I took it to the range last weekend, along with the No. 4 Mk1*. Came home with a bruise.
