Just got my first Garand from CMP(low serial #)
Just joined the site and wanted to show my first Garands I have owned. Was very pleased to see a low serial number in the 2xx,xxx's. All shoot well. Glad I got my oder in before they quit accepting them this go round.

Welcome to the neighborhood...and yes, a nice low number. Looks like a good honest rifle... Good catch.

2 more Garands. Both springfields with a 1,77x,xxx and a 3,3xx,xxx numbers. Look about like the other one. However one did have some small pieces of wood with white tape on them saying it was cleaned on certian dates along with U.S.
M.C. shoved in the cleaning rod holes. This one has a Rock Island refurb mark on the stock and one of the others had a R.R.I stanped on it.
