Requesting SRS verification for NRA Sporter

Could someone verify my NRA Sporter, SN 1366507? Star Gage # 1 1077, barrel dated 9-30. NS Bolt with electro-pencil SN on bottom. No star on muzzle.

I'd like to have a copy of the applicable page,or other objective evidence, if possible.

    Thanks from a new guy!

The only info available from the SRS books is as follows:

    1366507 SPT 10/27/31 DCM RIFLE SALES 1922-42

To find out who it was shipped to, you will have to pay for the information. Just GOOGLE Springfield Research Service to find out how to request the info.

Welcome to the forum, we'd love to see some clear pics of this one. You don't see so many good NRA sporters around. I saw one Kragicon NRA here and no 1903 Springfields...
    Regards, Jim

Thanks, Gents, for the prompt replies. I'll get some photos posted soon. Definitely interested in any history I can get from SRS.

Thanks, BAR. Did you notice the unusual relief cut behind the pistol grip. I kind of wish it wasn't there, but it's interesting. Makes one wonder what they were thinking.

I'm thinking they were carving it out for aesthetics. It's a nice figure of wood and too bad they did that...
