They cut the barrel and slip on the FE to a tack weld. I'd have thought all along if shortening, a small birdcage would be better anyway. Horse hockey...

They also sold an ultra rare 1942 No.4t fitted with a cheap Chinese scope and some really naff stampings. I did point out their error, but they deleted my review and sold it anyway

I'm surprised people get away with this sort of nonsense these days, gives the trade a very bad name.
Almost worth a call to ask about the 'Special Army Soldier' cut down Lithgow
L1.
Can you imagine the cock and bull story that goes along with it!
Who would pay £2000 for a welded up, mutilated worn out Lithgow with a hacksawed barrel and a mig welded FE.

Peter, he would, I am sure tell you that the Special Army Soldier gun plumbers at Hereford conjure up the Aztec gods with a special dance, who then sprinkle fairy dust on the shortened barrels...
Or, could it be utterly clapped out ex Malay contract Lithgow
paperweights, that have been hacksawed off and chucked through the proofhouse and sold as bare faced lies ..... Hmmn let me think.

I have a dozen rolls of toilet paper as used by 22 SAS any takers?...........at least it had the letters SAS on them, surely that must be worth it, even though they are hand crafted like wot they did in the H Block!!
