    Nordenfedlt projie

    A projie I got @ a month ago for $43/Aud they got the Nordenfedlt right but said it was 1889 vintage which was wrong but I am happy with it not to many floating around. I measured this one and it goes like this
    Projectile body 38mm
    Top driving band 38.95mm
    Bottom driving band 38.83mm
    Projie O/all 129mm
    Stampings N89 & N
    What I am chasing is the correct empty case for one if some one has one they wish to off load PM me and we will see what transpires

    From Wiki and they had a pic of the same projectile with the hollow base and 2 bands also with the same stampings as mine;

    DESCRIPTION Britishicon Hotchkiss/Nordenfelt 37mm Armour piecing high explosive with base fuse projectile.(APHE)

    WHEN MADE Believe circa 1914.

    INSCRIPTIONS & MARKINGS
