Truly impressive work. Your wood-working skills are impeccable!
Well done, indeed! It has been saved.
A very fine job, most impressive!![]()
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”
Edward Bernays, 1928
Much changes, much remains the same.
Remarkable work, well done! You do realise we'll expect a range report soon?![]()
Super cool! I really like the flame like pattern of the wood you did.
Any plans to get an original .276 caliber barrel done too?
Thank you guys.
dman69, unfortunately i do not have plans to go to the range soon... it's complicated, to say the least.
That's the grain pattern i ended up and it was totally by accident.
In fact i didn't want any fancy wood grain and i spent a couple of hours at the wood store picking out wood blanks out of the pile, that had a straight linear grain.... or so i thought.
Once the blocks of wood were cut to size and latter once they were carved i saw some fancy ''waves'' but hoped the stain would make them disappeared.
The original portion of the P13 stock had ''normal'' grain so that's what i wanted for the splice too.
But it was so much work fabricating it that there was no way i was going to start over again.
And no, for the moment and near future i do not have plans to have a .276 caliber barrel done.
Recent events would not permit it, or anything of that magnitude.
