    Dockendork Line Sight

Seen your web-site while looking for info on Dockendorff sights.I noticed a line sight article .I picked up a Dockendorff Line Sight last weekend ,as new with the box and with the origional papers insde. It is a universal sight that could be put on just about anything. It has a great deal of vertical adjustment and the only restriction would be barrel size.It would not fit on a shotgun as another fellow suggested.Hope this imformation is helpful.Looking forward to this web-site.Always looking for imformation on sights and stuff.Material sometimes hard to find, but sometimes it just appears. Thanks for the time and space.

    Cool m1 carbines,too cool!

Good morning fellow collectors Just another newbie on the scene, however its not taking me long to figure out why the M1icon carbine is so popular. I picked up a Iver Johnson at the local gun show about six months ago,(thats where I got the fever),since then made a trip to CMPicon in GA. There I found a nice Inland that I added to the collection. This is a great site, which I know I will enjoy. Thanks everybody, for all the valuable info. Can't wait to make another road trip

    New Member Seeks M1 Info

    Happy Friday!

Just took possession of an estate which included an M1icon marked S7529, the sling is attached to the side which looks odd to me. Maybe not an M1? I appreciate your input, photos uploaded. Bill Fairbill@billfair.com

New to this forum, not new to gun forums

Hello all, Akulahawk here, just dropping a note to say Hello!

As the thread title states, I'm not new to gun forums. I'm active on several, and they're mostly California centric. For those of you that don't know, California (to it's surprise, I'm sure) is going to be at the forefront of 2A court cases. Recently, a 9th Circuit case incorporated the 2nd against the states in the 9th Circuit. There are already court cases that have been filed that attack various portions of California's laws based on this ruling.

Change is happening... and probably not to Obama's, Pelosi's, Feinstein's, or Reid's liking.

Hi everyone. Joined this forum to gain information on WWII military rifles. I have IHC M1icon Garand and i recently acquired VZ24's. The three VZ24's were stored in a very damp place and all three stocks are in bad shape. Because of health issues I've not been able to quite dis-asssemble all three of the VZ24's. The stocks are interesting. One has Chinese or Japaneseicon characters etched on the stock, one is obviously a K98icon stock and the last one has probably the best wood, not split or cracked, but the rifle must have been stored in a swimming pool!! At least 3 1/2 inches from the buttplate up has rotted away. Any way I have a feeling I'll learn alot from all of you. Thanks!!

    Brand new memeber

Good afternoon. I'm new to the home computer world and to this site but I've been an avid collector for many years.
My interest has always been Garands and 14's My new spark of interest is 1903s. I've been out of school for 35 years so my typing skills are a little slow.
