Thanks for the info 5thBatt and smle addict!
Nothing wrong with fitting a Indian made cutoff, i wouldn't hesitate fitting one myself, you can always change it out later

True there is nothing wrong with them but he's asking $50 for it and I feel that I could get a nice British made one for that price!

Sam, what make is your SMLE? I'll have a look in my tat box if you let me know.

Hi Roger!
Its a WW1 B.S.A New Zealand marked SMLE if I remember correctly a 1907 manufacture!
Again, its great to see you on this forum Roger, always a wealth of knowledge and help.
By the way, still working on those night sights. Im still in the process of drawing them up as I don't get much time these days!
Best Regards,
Sam.

No hurry Sam, we all have other lives as well as Enfields. I've found you quite a clean BSA made cut-off & cut-off screw. Drop me an email or pm with your address & I'll get them off to you. Unfortunately I couldn't find a volley sight dial plate at short notice that was suitable for your purposes, but I'll keep my eyes open.

Sam.
Would love to see photos of this if you could please, a 1907 SMLE would be hard to restore to 1907 correct as there were a few changes made between 1907 & 1910

I note DS solutions now carry repro volley sight components for the SMLE and P14 at reasonable prices.
