The true factual basis of the photo, was, it was taken in Basra, of two filthy shop owners who thought they were fit enough where bets were taken on who would win a run around the block

It may just be my imagination but I find the quality of the Canadian produced parts to be of a higher standard than parts produced in Hartford. Many of which are most likely contracted outside of the factory.
Hey Brian, it's even a little more difficult than that, Colt Canada had to get US State Department permission to sell the Semi Auto ar15 rifles (and parts) to Canadian civilians.

It held the civilian sales program back by at least 6 months.

Thanks for responding and sending me to some good info. I've attached some photos of what I'm looking for. Specifically, I'm looking for the free float handguard and scope mount (2nd and 3rd photos)as seen in the photos. Also, which brand suppressor is used. Manufacturer names and/or sources for locating these parts would be very helpful.
The free float tube is VERY '"90s," aluminum. The Hogue tube if you could find one without the overmold would be identical.

That figures. They have their fingers into everything. God forbid we want to do business! Many of the ITAR laws are so complicated and outdated. There are good folks trying to get some good changes made but the Department of Commerce is ill prepared to take on the extra duty. Maybe someday!

I've collected most of the parts I'm looking for. Seems that I read somewhere that a 2 stage trigger was used. Does anyone happen to know which brand?

From what I've been able to find, it appears the barrel profile is 20" heavy.

Looking for info about scopes used on the C7CT. From a few photos, it looks like the Leupold 3.5-10x40 may have been used. Does anyone have any specifics? Reticle? Other brands?
