So, if I got one from Marstar, could it even be shipped over to
UK? Or do we all go to jail for trying?
I purchased some non-pressure bearing Webley revolver components from them a few years back without issues. I’d have thought the yardstick was whether the component required has to be modified on a current UK spec deact. If it doesn’t, then I don’t see how a case could stand up in court. Unfortunately there’s no point asking the Home Office for advice as they’ll merely reply ‘it’s part of a Section 5 firearm - no you can’t import it’ irrespective of whether that is actually legally the case.
