The left side shots show it's an SG receiver since it has no locator hole, also the wide tang. Those do have the different slide groove termination

Is there anything different/special about a prime in the 3629 range?

Normally, not. They're in the serial range normally associated with S.G.. If it doesn't have the locator hole on the left side it's a transferred receiver.

Ok, it's possibly one of the SG made ones. From what I've experienced people who know prefer the locator hole style receiver for S'G' just a bit more than the SG one.
