I have dealt with Island Accuracy buying a M-40 replica and to say it was a heap well will let these pics tell the story.......a brand new rifle as advertised in his blog and always available!!!!!!!!!
I had my gunsmith check the weapon over in front of me after we unpacked it, apart from the pics the rifle had rust in the barrel 2"in from the muzzle, chipped land, chatter marks on the 11 degree crown, bolt was not lapped I sent it back after waiting 3 months for it paying all the monies up front but there was a catch. (This rifle was supposed to be perfect)
He withheld $300.oo AU for the postage costs from the refund what could I do he had my money and I had no rifle, he also stuffed up my friends receiver trying to build a replica No.4 T for him (He advertises this fact as well) no stay away from this dealer purported firearms expert, and Dave I do not care if you read this you are a rotter and did not stand by your so called good will and why would I have risked a replacement M-40 from you.......

I brought a APRS Rem 700 in 308 and I have put 4 consecutive shots into an inch at 300M off a bipod witnessed by the target marker so Isl Acc rifles would not blow gunsmoke up an APRS rifle.....the APRS is the rifle pictured on the bi-pod
