The Sterling is right up there as one of my Favourite weapons!
Well worth obtaining a copy of you like this superb sub machine gun!
Good to see you here Mike, we don't see enough of you these days mate!
My book finally arrived today, quick flick through and taken away as it's a birthday present in a few weeks.... From my brief look I was very impressed indeed, what a wealth of information, even touching on the Air rifles they made..... Really looking forward to getting stuck in!

Mine is on the " don't" sell list Gil, but I'm still looking at other avenues for you mate. Frustratingly, nothing coming available yet. They seem to have got few and far between now.
This is the last of a batch of five old spec deacs I bought, cosmetically refurbished and sold on a few years back.
My wife convinced me to keep the last one, glad I did mate!

Are the criticisms on some of the Amazon reviews of this book regarding the reproduction of some of the original text and images, from the original book, in this new book unfounded?

There are a few minor issues where letters didn't transfer, and some of the text is scrunched up.
As near as I can tell, there are 2 new drawings, a colour plate of photos, and an added paragraph, and a few sentences here and there in addition to the new dedication.
Or you can buy a copy of GoD for $750US last time I checked on ABE...

Just to echo this, 'very minor' issues, absolutely nothing that will detract from an excellent read.

No need, I managed to purchase a copy of the G.o.D. a few years ago when I was lucky enough to see one at an affordable price.
I was just wondering whether or not to get this edition as well.

This one has some previously unpublished photos and details which were not permitted in the GoD.
The text was read and printed by a scanner hence some of the mistypes. Even so, they all seemed obvious mistakes and didn't detract from an excellent read. For the price it is definitely worth it.
