If in your receiver is stamped the letter D,it means that the chamber has been modified in order to shoot the Lapua D166 ball, an fmj of 200grs. This is the bullet used by the finn army.
It should give you a good precision, but probably the best results will come when using the Sierra .311 hpbt 174grs. As suggested start with a low charge and watch for pressure sign, but I think you will not have trouble. If you are on a tight budget, you may want to consider for training also Sellier&Bellot .311 fmj 180grs and spare the Sierra for the matches. They offer decent precision at about half the price
