That stock doesn't appear to be Walnut, unless it's been bleached. Looks like a M2 style stock.
And by blowing this picture up and adding some light it looks as though there might be 2 letters markings about 1" down from the gas cylinder / piston opening.. Right down at the very bottom of the picture.
Eddie,
Did you look on the barrel area that the bayonet band is covering ?
A picture of the barrel just behind the front sight 'Might' help

Hello Bob,
In the yellow oval I just see kind of little square, what does that mean?

Eddie,
I don't know how much they want for it,
But just the Inland Receiver is worth over $300+ US
A stripped of parts Inland trigger housing could add about a extra $100 US. The Op slide if a real GI (which I believe it is) add another $75+ US.
IF, the barrel is a commercial made one, it could bring another $100+ US
That's $575 minimum just for those parts. I've seen just the Receivers sell for near that to the right buyer.

Eddie: The inland mark on the trigger housing is a character of the old Inland building. Like a rectangle shaped house with a hump in the roof. They marked the different type by placing the shape in different ways. The late ones had the little house standing on its side. like yours.

Hola Carlito,
Youre right, I removed the stock pad and the wood seems to be bleached and pretty newer than the receiver.
Ffs, youre right too about the gas cylinder, it seems to be some kind of letters or marks, unfortunatelly now Im not close to that M1 to double check, my rookie vision is killing me
Yeah I look that barrel area, I moved the bayonet band side to side, in fact this is the bayonet band.

The inland bldg on its side is mid production, not late. Late production is upside down. That barrel band looks like a cut off type 3. That gas cylinder doesn't look GI to me. It could be either an Erma/german barrel of one of the Howas. I'm not sure which. The stock is a beech M2 stock. IF it is marked, and many were not, it will be in the sling bevel or on the top left front of the stock right up by the barrel channel with an SA.

Except it hasn't been cut off. I don't recognize those markings, do you? My hand stamped 6.9 Inland came with a Type 5 trigger housing, but know it could've had a Type 6. - Bob
